Indie Film Fest 2024

Phoenix, AZ -- Indie Film Fest is a multi day, multi venue, inclusive festival in downtown Phoenix. Our community organized and funded film fest is going into our 6th year aiming to help grow the artist economy in Phoenix, AZ.

In 2024 we return to downtown Phoenix with screenings at the Phoenix Center for the Arts with insightful panels, mixers, and events around the artist community on Roosevelt Row. Our commitment to the artist community is to bring more funding to independent filmmakers and creatives which is why every ticket sale will benefit our Indie filmmakers directly.

What’s special this year?

Indie Film Fest is proud to announce the expansion at South Mountain Community College (SMCC) with two full days of captivating events on the college campus hosted by our friends from the student organizations, MECHA de SMCC and the Black Student Union.

Indie Film Fest at the SMCC campus on February 15 and 16 promises to bring a unique cinematic experience centered in community and inclusion. On February 15, join us for Speaker Sessions and screenings, setting the stage for an engaging learning experience in film and storytelling. Then, on February 16, prepare for a full pink-carpet experience, complete with a community resource fair, live entertainment, and an array of film screenings followed by panel discussions with filmmakers at the state-of-the-art SMCC Performing Arts Center. You’re invited to join filmmakers, artists, students and the campus community as we join in for this unique experience.

In addition to our expansion with campus screenings, Indie Film Fest is proud to host our very first Creative Summit. The Creative Summit will host interactive workshops, a film challenge, first hand stories from community members about important issues that need creative solutions, and an entertainment mixer at the Irish Cultural Center. Festival ticket buyers will have access to all of our workshops without any extra fees. This is our way of bringing direct growth to our artist community with the hopes of growing the artist economy.
